Introduction: A Vision Turned Reality
The Heat2Eat Campaign by MPH Group has made a notable impact not just in the community of Fife but has also gained national attention through an Early Day Motion in parliment. But what makes this campaign so special? This post delves into the background, community involvement, and the incredible results of our Heat2Eat campaign.
What Is Heat2Eat?
Heat2Eat started as an initiative by MPH Group, your trusted family-run all-trades company based in Fife, Scotland. Led by our owner, Ewan McLean, the campaign aims to combat the rising cost of living and energy bills affecting the local residents. We offer free energy assessments and work closely with Navien UK, a leading boiler manufacturer, to bring you the most efficient boiler systems.
For each Navien boiler installed in a Fife home, £100 goes directly to local charities. This innovative approach provides immediate benefits to homeowners while generating funds that make a significant impact on the broader Fife community.
One of the pivotal aspects of the Heat2Eat campaign is our collaboration with Navien UK. Their high-efficiency condensing gas boilers are a perfect match for our goal to increase energy efficiency in Fife homes.
Recognition & Accomplishments
MPH Group recently received an Early Day Motion in the House of Commons, a rare and significant recognition. The campaign has already raised more than £17,000 since its launch in January 2023 where the money was dispursed to local foodbanks and charities. These funds were managed by Rose Duncan at Brighter Futures Health Hub to ensure they’re allocated where they’re most needed.
Beyond the community impact, the campaign has also been acknowledged with several award nominations, including “Campaign of the Year” at the Energy Awards 2023. MPH Group has also been featured in prominent Scottish newspapers, showcasing the power of local businesses to make a genuine impact.
Remembering Rose Duncan
Rose Duncan, who was a part of Brighter Futures Health Hub, played a crucial role in managing these funds. While she is no longer with us, her dedication and commitment to the community continue to inspire us.
Words From MPH Group MD Ewan Mclean
“For me, it’s simple. If you’re in a position to help, you should. That’s the ethos that has driven MPH Group since the start and will continue to do so. Heat2Eat isn’t just a campaign; it’s a manifestation of what happens when businesses decide to become part of the solution,” says Ewan McLean, owner of MPH Group.
Conclusion
The Heat2Eat campaign represents the core values of MPH Group. It’s a story of how local businesses can have a far-reaching impact on their communities. It’s not just about home improvement; it’s about community improvement.
